Every Wednesday afternoon, our students are released 30 minutes early.
Expect your bus riders to arrive home approximately 30 minutes earlier than their regularly scheduled stop time today.
If you need bus transportation on the first day of school, please register your students by this Friday (July 28th).

SES Stakeholders,
We have received tentative approval from the Indiana Department of Education to reduce by 2 the total number of instructional days for next school year. We made this request to allow for time to provide some highly desired training for our teachers and support staff. With this approval, our new start date for students will be Thursday, August 10th. Please also note, April 8th is now an elearning day, based on recommendations from County officials who are concerned about school safety and transportation on the date of the Solar Eclipse that will cross Shelby County that afternoon. Thanks for your continued support.
Shelby Eastern Schools is excited to welcome and introduce the next Principal of Morristown Jr. Sr. High School. Mr. Andrew Shores is twenty-year veteran educator who has worked the last nineteen years at Eastern Hancock High School. Andrew completed his administrative internship at Eastern Hancock and is excited to begin this chapter of his educational career. He will officially assume the role of Principal at MHS on July 1st. Please make him feel welcome and supported as he begins serving the community as Principal.
Waldron Parents: Due to a technical error with PowerSchool, the data we collected at the Little Mohawks Preschool event was overwritten. This means we need all parents who plan to send their child to preschool for the first time this fall, including those who pre-enrolled earlier this spring, to complete the online registration form.
