We will also read a quote about kindness each day over the morning announcements. On Friday, we will have a special music trivia contest during passing periods featuring college fight songs. Here are this week's events at WHS for the week of December 12th - it's a busy one! This is the final week of the semester, and we will have final exams Wednesday through Friday (see schedule below). This is also our homecoming week, so we have student dress-up days each day, and we also have some fun spirit activities prepared for Friday afternoon. Winter break will take place from December 17-January 2. Students will return to school from break on Tuesday, January 3rd.

Thank you to our veterans for your service! A special thank you to Dr. Holly Everette for being our guest speaker today! Our student speakers and performers all sounded excellent. Happy Veterans Day!
We look forward to our annual Veterans Day program tomorrow starting at 1:30 PM in the main gym. All veterans are invited and any community members wishing to join us are welcome to come as well! Please enter through the main entrance, doors will will open at 1:00 PM. There will be reserved seating for guests and community members. There will also be a hospitality room hosted by Waldron FFA available for veterans prior to the program.
Next week, the Scholastic Book Fair returns to WHS!
Congrats to Mrs. Peterson and the drama department on being awarded the Waldron Hometown Community Grant from the Blue River Community Foundation! The grant money will go toward purchasing new microphones and headsets for our drama productions and other performances.
We are looking forward to an awesome Veterans Day program next Friday, November 11th at 1:30. All veterans are invited and welcome! We will have musical performances, guest speakers, 21-gun salute, a hospitality room, among other activities to celebrate and honor our veterans!
