Good Afternoon! A few reminders on this Thursday afternoon:
1. School WILL be in session this coming Monday, February 19th as a snow make-up day.
2. Yearbook orders are due next Friday, February 23rd. Please visit inter-state.com/order and enter the code 83727S. You can also return one of the forms that were sent home previously with checks made out to MES.
3. We have been seeing a lot of sickness lately. We want to remind parents to keep their child home when they are sick. Students must be fever free (less than 100 without the use of Tylenol, etc.) for 24 hours and no vomiting or diarrhea within the last 24 hours, as well. If your child is going to be out, we ask that you please call the school. Please and thank you!

Good Morning and Happy Groundhog Day! The groundhog did not see his shadow this morning, which means an early spring this year! :) A few announcements as we head into the weekend:
1. This Sunday the online spirit wear sale ends at 11:59pm! Please visit the following link if you would still like to make a purchase: https://mes2024.itemorder.com/shop/home/
2. Midterm Reports will be coming home for students in grades 1-5 today. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.

Good Afternoon, MES Families!
This message is to let you know that all students in grades K-5 will be coming home with their Chromebook and charger this afternoon. As you may know, there is potential for inclement weather to come in later this evening and overnight which may cause the need to delay or close school tomorrow. Should we need to close, tomorrow will be an eLearning Day. If a cancellation is made, notification will be sent out to parents along with further instructions for eLearning.

Happy Snowy Friday! A few announcements as we head into the weekend:
1. If you haven't already, be sure to check out the online Spirit Wear shop and get your latest Yellow Jacket attire. Thank you to our PTA for setting this up! https://mes2024.itemorder.com/
2. The Pacer Ticket Fundraiser ends next Thursday, January 25th. If you are submitting orders by using the form sent home with kids, please make sure orders and money are submitted by this date. Sales can also be made online.
3. A reminder that microwaves are not to be used by elementary students in the cafeteria. We have had issues with this in the past, so those are reserved for students in the junior/senior high. Please do not send items to school that need to be heated during lunch.

Happy RAINY Friday Afternoon! Several announcements as we head into this extended weekend.
1. NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 15th in honor of MLK Jr. Day. Students return to school on Tuesday.
2. Thank you to those who have been participating in the Pacers ticket fundraiser. If you are collecting funds and using the form sent home, please return to school once you are finished. All orders are due January 25th!

Good Morning, MES Families! A few announcements as we head into the weekend:
1. Report Cards and IREADY Reports will be coming home with students in grades K-5 today. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.
2. We are starting a fundraiser this semester selling Pacers tickets! Students are coming home with information packets today. For every ticket sold, part of the proceeds come back to MES. Students can also earn prizes along the way. On Wednesday, February 28th, MES will have a School Night at the Pacers vs. Pelicans game! If you have any questions, feel free to contact Mr. Corn.
