P.T.A. Silent Auction Baskets 2025

Here are the themes for this years silent auction baskets. Please send in a donation that goes with the theme of your child’s grade. We will collect and package the items. We need all of the donations before the end of the school day, Tuesday, Nov. 4th.
Then just stop in the cafeteria on Academic Night, Thursday, Nov. 6th, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. enjoy dinner, bid on the baskets you would like, and then head to Academic Night, in the elementary school, from 6:00-8:00 P.M.

Kindergarten - Movie Night
1st Grade - Family Game Night
2nd Grade - Baking Basket
3rd Grade - Camping
4th Grade - Coffee Bar
5th Grade - Christmas

I hope everyone had a great fall break. It was good to see all of the smiling faces back at school.
Report cards will be sent home tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct.14th. Please remember to sign and return the envelope to school.
We look forward to seeing everyone at parent/teacher conferences this Wednesday, Oct. 15th, and next Wednesday, Oct. 22nd.
While you are here for parent/teacher conferences, please do not forget to stop in the Title 1 room at the end of the 5th grade hallway. Sign in when you get there to pick out a free book, enjoy some refreshments, and to get your child registered to win a gift certificate for the upcoming book fair.

Thank you so much for your great support in our World’s Finest Chocolates fundraiser. I am happy to tell you that we have sold out of candy bars. Therefore, we will not be able to refill some of the requests for more candy bars today. Keep selling the ones you still have. Next year we will have to look at ordering more. We can also add more prizes.

Dear MES Families, This message is to inform you that the 24-25 school year will be my last at MES. Recently, I was offered and accepted a position with a different school district that is best for me and my family at this time. For the last 12 years, I had had the honor and privilege to work with some of the finest students, teachers, and parents that I have known. The memories I have created during this time will stay with me for the rest of my life. MES and Morristown have become my second home over the years and will forever hold a special place in my heart. Although leaving this place will be very difficult, it's also important to embrace new opportunities. Life is a series of changes and we must be willing to catch those opportunities that can allow for growth and development. Again, thank you for your love and support. I wish you all the best! Good Morning, MES Families! A couple of announcements on this beautiful Thursday morning: 1. Midterm Reports will be coming home with students in grades 1-5 today. If you have any questions, please be sure to reach out to your child's teacher. 2. There will be NO SCHOOL tomorrow Friday, April 18th. Good Afternoon, MES Families! Next week the ILEARN testing window opens up. The schedule will look like this: Week of April 14--3rd grade tests Week of April 21--4th grade tests Week of April 28--5th grade tests We ask if at all possible that students are present especially for the days they test. Testing will primarily take place in the morning. If appointments must be made, the afternoon would be best. Thank you in advance! Have a great weekend!

We ask that students arrive by 6:45pm.
