
Good Morning! A few updates and reminders on this beautiful Thursday:
1. Report Cards will be coming home with students in grades K-5 today. If you have any questions, please be sure to contact your child's teacher.
2. Also coming home today is information from the PTA about a walkathon! All donations are due by March 31st.
3. March is Disability Awareness Month. On Monday, March 24th, we invite all students and staff to wear orange to help promote awareness.
4. Lastly, tomorrow (Friday) is the start of Spring Break! School is not in session tomorrow. Students will return back to school on Monday, March 24th.

Good Morning!
This is a reminder about Kindergarten Roundup this evening here at the elementary starting at 6:00pm (doors will not open before this time). This is for incoming Kindergarten students for the 2025-2026 school year! Childcare will be provided for the incoming Kindergarten students while Mr. Corn and teachers meet separately with parents. All students will receive a goody bag, snacks, and be able to check out a bus before they leave!
Please help spread the word!

Good Morning! A message from Mrs. Karnes:
"Our school is participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepsake products customized with your child's art. There are over 60 products and many are less than $20. These make great gifts and a percentage of every purchase goes right back to our school!"
Orders are due by Friday, March 14th. Forms were sent home last Friday! You may place your order online by using the QR code on the form.

2. Yearbook Sales are open! Order forms are coming home with students today. You may also order online at inter-state.com/order and use the order code: 90968M. IF you placed an online order earlier in the year, no need to place another one. Orders are due Friday, February 21st.

Good Morning and Happy Friday! A couple of announcements as we head into the weekend:
1. We ask that parents no longer park in Sisters parking lot in the morning or afternoon when dropping off or picking up students. The reason for this decision is due to safety concerns. All car riders must use the car rider line that lines up along Locust Street. Please and thank you!
2. Attached is a flyer about a free dental screening for kids ages 3-10. Be sure to check it out!

This is a reminder that today is the last day of the first semester. Students will be on Christmas Break December 23rd-January 3rd. Students return back from break on Monday, January 6th.
We hope that everyone has a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Enjoy your time with family and friends.

Good Morning, MES Families! A couple of reminders as we head into the weekend:
1. As temperatures begin to turn colder, a reminder to please make sure your child is bundled up each day. If temperatures are 32 degrees or higher, classes may go outside for recess to get some fresh air.
2. A reminder that next week is a short week as we are only in session on Monday and Tuesday. Thanksgiving Break begins on Wednesday, November 27th. Students will return on Monday, December 2nd.
3. Mark your calendars for the evening of Wednesday, December 4th. We will be having an open house from 5:00-7:00pm for the community to check out the new gym! Classes will be starting in there after we return from Thanksgiving Break.

Good Morning, MES Families!
This coming Monday, November 11th, we will hold our annual Veterans' Day Program in the HIGH SCHOOL gym at 9:00am. Students in grades K-5 will be participating. This event is open to all in the community to attend.
There will also be a breakfast for all veterans who plan to attend the program starting at 7:30am in the high school Ag Room. The breakfast will wrap up around 8:30am. Please help spread the word!

Good Morning, MES Families! Tonight is a big night with many activities happening at school!
Fall PTA Dinner---5:00-8:00pm (HS cafeteria. Please enter through Door 1 at the high school). LaFiesta will be catering the meal. Tickets are $10 each and includes: taco or nacho meal with choice of toppings, a side of rice or beans, a side of chips and queso or salsa, and a drink of choice! There will also be a silent auction of themed baskets!
Academic Night and Book Fair---6:00-8:00pm. Student projects will be on display and families will have the opportunity to shop at the book fair. Please enter through Door 1 of the elementary. Doors will open promptly at 6:00pm.
We look forward to see everyone tonight!

Good Morning, MES Families! A couple of reminders this Monday morning:
1. For those who returned an RSVP and will be attending one of the Grandparent Breakfast tomorrow or Wednesday, you may park at either the high school or at Sisters Parking lot (once spots are full at the elementary). Doors will open at 6:50am with breakfast starting at 7:00am. Our Scholastic Book Fair will also be open at the elementary library.
2. There is NO Good News Club this week!
