Waldron High School earned the Purple Star School designation from the Indiana Department of Education. This award is presented to schools who display a commitment to military personnel and their families. In addition to training requirements for the school's military point of contact, we also provide resources for military families, have displays in the school to honor veterans, we host an annual Veterans Day program, a "Military Night" basketball game, and other events to support our veterans.
