
MHS and MES will be on a virtual learning day for Friday, February 23.
Teachers will post lessons and expectations by 10 AM and will post a time when they are available to offer help remotely. The due date for the work will be Tuesday of next week in order to offer flexibility for those with limited internet.
Students who attend the career center are excused from attending tomorrow. The career center has already been notified.

Due to drifting and blowing snow, all practices and events (home and away) are canceled for today, 1/19. All Saturday morning practices and events are canceled or postponed until we can reevaluate conditions tomorrow morning for decisions about Saturday afternoon/evening.

Yesterday our Earth Science students visited WISH-TV Channel 8 in Indianapolis to get a behind the scenes look at how forecasts are developed and produced. Students also met news anchor Tara Hastings and learned more about the career path for Meteorology.

The MHS BPA had a terrific day on Saturday as they competed in the Region 9 Leadership Competition. State Qualifiers: Bryce Bryant, Mason Deák, Wyatt Hodgen, Allison Marshall, Grace McLaughlin, Annika Roots, Olivia Trlak, and Seth Wayt.

Our High School Earth/Space Science students recently visited our local Morristown Wastewater treatment facility to see in real time the process by which our town's sewage and wastewater gets processed and turned back into usable clean water.

Our Life Skills Class took a trip to go bowling today! They were joined by some of their friends and they had a blast! Thank you to Mrs. Stratton and Mrs. Mohr for coordinating this fun trip!











The life skills class will be hosting a dine to donate event at Culvers in Shelbyville on Tuesday, October 17th, 5-8pm.
Proceeds will be used to support our life skills class. The students will be there helping out and would love to see you! Thank you for your support!


Yesterday in Ms. Merritt's World History class students presented their projects to each other in small groups. While assessing each other's work they were reviewing content, exploring different presentation methods, and working on their interpersonal skills. Learning in action!




Mrs. Nieman's class recently made pancakes as they explore the world of Culinary Arts. Kids, they look delicious! Why didn't you bring me any?! 😁





Ms. Jarman's 7th grade study skills class has created posters about how to be more academically successful. The posters are hung up around the building. Check them out!





Yesterday, students in Mr. Kreiger's 7th grade science class worked on a motion lab. They collected data about how fast they could run backwards, speed walk, and sprint a certain distance.
