Where did you go to High School and College? What degrees/certifications do you have?
I went to Hauser High School in Hope, Indiana.
I attended Manchester College in North Manchester, Indiana and Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
I graduated from Ball State in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies Education.
I also am a certified pharmacy technician.
Tell us about members of your family.
My husband and I have been married since Oct. 2000.
We were high school sweethearts.
We have two wonderful children, Cade and Kaylee.
What do you do when you aren't teaching? What are your activities, interests, hobbies?
I am the sponsor of SADD.
I advise the Waldron delegates to the Shelby County Youth Council.
When I'm not at school, I like to learn about the civil war, go antique shopping, and make beaded jewelry.
I also like playing softball.
What is one thing that your students don't know about you?
I want to travel to Zimbabwe and help at the HIV/AIDS Clinic sometime during my life.
If I could go back in time, I'd go to the civil war several times, as several different people.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Twenty years fro now people won't remember what you wore, how much money you had, or how popular you were. They will, however, remember how you treated them. So remember to treat everyone the way you want to be treated, even if they are your polar opposite.
